About Me
A life long resident of Fredericton, Mother of two – Jennifer and her husband Mark live in Coburg, Ontario, Natalie and her husband Will live in Melbourne, Australia. A REALTOR® for the past five years with EXIT Realty.
After 30 plus years of working in an office environment, I thought, it's time to try something different. For the last 15 years, I was office manager at the Conservation Council of New Brunswick (a non-profit organization). It was a great place to work but the routine was the same every day. So after giving it some thought, I decided becoming a REALTOR® just might fit into my plan. Once I received my license, I dabbled in real estate on a part time bases and in the Spring of 2008, I decided June 30th. would be my last day working at CCNB and so it was. I never looked back. No regrets what so ever. It was a bit of an adjustment at first, but I enjoy being my own boss. Every day is different.
I’m quite happy helping others with their real estate needs. This is definitely not a 9 to 5 job. Working evenings and weekends is just part of it. But being my own boss, I can set my own hours so if I decide to take some time off to travel then that's okay.
Once the warm weather arrives, you can find me digging in the dirt in my spare time - I do like to garden and have many perennials growing in my yard. I find gardening very relaxing.
I enjoy giving back to my community. I donate to the Fredericton Food Bank on a regular basis. I also donate to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Muscular Dystrophy Canada, Canadian Cancer Society and Heart & Stroke Foundation.
So, when asked “Are you happy being a REALTOR®”? The answer is ‘YES’. There isn’t any thing else I would rather be doing
